This is a Ransomes Hydraulic 5/7 tractor mounted gang mowers. This is the current MK IV model which cost over £60k new and are probably the quickest machine for cutting large areas of grass and the quoted performance by Ransomes is up to 12.5 acres per hour! It has 5 cylinders mounted on the back and 2 on the front. The cutting width is 4.65 meters (183 inches) and the transport width is 2.5 meters (98.5 inches). These were put away in working condition 2 and a half years ago and have been kept in a barn ever since. They still need some fettling to use them again. They come with the controller that mounts in the cab and the operator and parts manuals too.
